A "truly spectacular" Jewish Wedding
Rachel and Andrew had seen The Last Dynasty Band at a friends wedding and wanted us for their own wedding at Northbrook House in Surrey. Their wedding was a Jewish celebration on a Sunday evening and they wanted a large band who could also perform a set of Israeli music in between courses. They also wanted to be able to request songs in between band sets.
We provided The Last Dynasty 8 piece band which featured trumpet and percussion and added a set of the Hora - our very own 15 minute medley of Israeli songs after the starter for the Jewish dancing. the couple had a very specific first dance in mind which we had never performed before so we made sure we learnt this for them specially. We followed this with two sets of uptempo party music including lots of requests from the couple and their family. We also provided our Seduce DJ complete with booth and lights so that guests could make requests for songs in between band sets and afterwards until 1am.
Special Requirements of the event:
This event was organised by the couple along with a dedicated wedding planner so we were required to work with both the clients, the venue and the wedding planner throughout.
The band had to be able to adhere to the Jewish wedding traditions by performing the Hora medley and to have a wide mix of songs that the clients specifically wanted.
The first dance was very important to the clients (and was not a song we had performed before) so we had to learn it as a special request for them.
They wanted to be able to make requests for songs in between band sets so it was perfect for us to add on our Seduce dedicated DJ in between sets and after.
