A Small, Stylish Birthday Party
Lisa was having a low key but very stylish birthday party in the private dining room upstairs at The Ivy in Central London and was looking for some entertainment to suit a smaller group of around 70 guests but lively enough to encourage people to dance. They also wanted to make use of the lovely grand piano in the room.
We provided the Soul Bubble trio featuring female vocals, keyboard (with male backing vocals) and percussion including bongo drums, congas and hand percussion. With this we were able to perform a set of more relaxed background music for earlier on in the evening over drinks, and then up the energy for a set of stripped back pop, soul and rock classics which got everyone dancing!
Special requirements of the event:
The space in the private room at The Ivy isnt large so the band couldnt be too overwhelming both in size and volume. therefore the compact 3 piece band was the perfect compromise on a band that could be both background and also be lively enough to get the guests dancing.
